Change the world – starting with us!
Most people have dreams that they would love to see come to pass, but very few people take the risks required to make them happen, or if they do, they don’t work at the dream long enough to see it come to pass.
Two years ago I had a dream to change the ‘static’ way that leaders learned.
I was sitting in a conference with over 3000 people and as I looked around I wondered why leadership development programs could not be taught in an environment of inspiration and excitement, just like this conference.
So, I set out to create an environment where leaders could experience the four cornerstones of leadership learning – Knowledge, Inspiration, Connection and Support – and guess what – the idea worked.
I created a product called The Impact Leadership Experience – a two-day leadership program that is now taking the country by storm, and I could not be more thrilled.
You see, people need constant change, no matter what situation they are in, but they also need people who are prepared to dream, take risks and then work at what they have created.
Dreams are easy to create, but bringing them to fruition is hard work; that is where Optimistic Disturbers kick in!
Procrastination is the enemy of progress, so why don’t we all commit to making 2014 the year that one of those dreams is launched.
The Impact Leadership Experience is not just a program, but a new way of learning and that is what releasing our dreams does. They start off as just an idea, but if we work at them, we see that they fit into a much greater purpose than just something we would like to happen.
I would love you to experience my dream through the Impact Leadership Experience and you can do so by clicking here.
What about your dream? What would you like to see happen this year? What is that one thing that you are prepared to take risks for and are prepared to work at? If you know what it is, then do it. If you don’t know, then start to dream.
Dreaming is so powerful because it takes us out of what we see as possible with our natural eyes and takes us to a new level of thinking.
So, come on Disturbers, let’s create. Let’s lead by example and get disturbed enough to change the world – starting with us.
