Change Is Awesome!

Hi everyone,

Well, this newsletter is one of our most important yet as there are changes a plenty at Proteus right now, and I would like to share some of those with you.

As of 1st July 2023, I will be stepping down as Co-CEO at Proteus Leadership and Richard Dore will be taking over as sole CEO for the business. No, I am not retiring, I don’t understand that word, but I will be spending most of my time in the Sales and Marketing areas of our business which includes podcasting and producing our magazine Proteuslife.

I will however be retiring from public speaking after nearly 50 years on the stage and the Leadership Breakfast Series in October/November will be my final hurrah, so I would love to see you all there. Register your teams online.

Richard has been with Proteus now for almost 24 years and I couldn’t imagine that Proteus would be anywhere near as effective as it is without him in the business, so, it is now time for him to take the reins and I could not be more thrilled.

There are also other changes happening right across the business as we adapt to a very different marketplace and take on the new challenges that it brings.

But one thing that will never change is that the world needs great leaders more than ever and we endeavour to continue helping in that space for as long as we can.

So, thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to working with you all for many more years to come.

Living And Leading With Insight
The difference between success and frustration.

There is one thing that I rate above all other leadership attributes and that is the need for leaders to lead with INSIGHT. To have the ability to see past the so-called obvious and see what is really happening. If we don’t operate with INSIGHT we will lead with constant frustration, revisiting the same things over and over again.

Des will take us on a journey of how we can introduce and practice INSIGHT in our personal and professional lives. Don’t miss this inspirational presentation.

  • What is insight?
  • Why is it so important?
  • Insight unlocks the door to removing frustration
  • Are you brave enough to lead this way?
