Right through this Pandemic we have all had so many things to juggle while not really knowing what the future might hold. Many people went into it with grand plans to learn new languages or try something completely ‘left of centre’ and yet many of those things did not happen. Our focus has been on so many things and so many other people and now we are tired and fatigued, just hoping something might miraculously change.
But, as Einstein said, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”.
There is one thing that I do know, we will come out of this, but how we come out will depend on the decisions and actions we take right now.
We need to reset our minds and our actions and take back control so that we can stay a step ahead and be ready for whatever life throws at us in the future.
So, my challenge to you all this week is to sit down and make a list of the things that you are doing right now that are stopping you preparing for that future.
Then identify one thing that you are going to learn and/or develop starting right now.
I got into the education field because I truly believe that life long learning is the thing that gets us out of our ruts and opens our eyes to new opportunities that make us excited again.
So, what will that be for you?
I make no apologies for the fact that I run a learning organisation and I am blatantly advertising learning. If I didn’t believe in it, then I wouldn’t do it.
So, check out our programs and prepare for your future through learning.
Have an awesome week!

In this fast paced, ever changing role of leadership, the expectation of today’s leaders and what we have the capacity to give, can often conflict.
The real success of a leader is not the ability to keep going, but in fact the ability to know when and how to STOP and RESET our leadership life.
In order to do this, we must understand and practice the skills of:
