Start Your Plan Now!

Hi everyone,

It has become increasingly difficult during COVID to know what to do to keep ourselves positive and motivated. There have been so many opinions and motivational ideas suggested that my head is exploding. Even though some of the ideas might be helpful, it is important to remember that we are all different and must find what works for us. Listen to others but work out your own plan.

Here are 7 things that I have adopted that work for me. I hope these ideas help you in developing your own plan.

  1. Keep your mind and body active on a daily basis - don’t procrastinate, push through and make things happen.
  2. Don’t dwell on negative thoughts – deal with them and then let them go.
  3. Don’t be a sniper, constantly shooting at people who are simply trying to do their best. The only person who suffers long-term is you. It is the best way to become bitter and twisted.
  4. DREAM – plan something amazing 6 -12 months out from now and then make it happen. Focus your mind and actions on something that will make you happy.
  5. Start to rekindle friendships you have not worked on over the past 2 years.
  6. Remember: Black clouds bring rain. If you acknowledge the clouds are there for a reason, and that when they move on things will be more lush, healthy, and greener, then you can thrive right now.
  7. Accept that it is your responsibility, and not your right, to be happy and your happiness is completely within your control. Then the world will start to look very different. Happiness is a choice!

I am not sure if any of them resonate with you, but they really work for me, even though I haven’t mastered them all yet.

So, why not write down 7 things that could work for you and start to master them on a daily basis?

Stay safe and be happy everyone.

We WILL come out the other side BETTER versions of ourselves
