Hi everyone,
I just have to say, I love being in the field of Professional Development and one of the reasons is because of the people that I have had the chance to meet during my journey. So, I thought I would introduce you to some of them this week.
Here is a chapter from my book ‘Life Eyes’ that I got the chance to read at one of our Proteus Breakfast events.
I hope you enjoy it and like me, realise again that everyone who comes across our path has something to teach us, if we are listening.
Have a great week.

Over the past weeks our team have been travelling to client sites and also to other Proteus centres across Australia. This week we saw Brett Winkler with the team in Brisbane, Grant Davis running a program for the UK from our Melbourne office and Jane Penny and Leanne Keillor with Co-CEOs visiting our Noosa Heads office.
Lisa Cutler was also on the road again delivering our Creating a Positive Workplace Culture workshop in Launceston for the Tasmanian Health Service.

CREATING A POSITIVE CULTURE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
"Absolutely loved it! Best training session I've ever been to. With the changes that we are going through as a company (some forced by economic pressures and competitor competition) we need to develop a dynamic and positive culture to get the most out of our staff. This session was inspiring. I couldn't wait to get back to the office to start to implement some of the ideas."
- Kylie Jolley - Karndean Design flooring
"The program was positive and gave me a new look on culture within my organisation. It gave me new techniques and ideas to implement, and I loved being able to learn about them in an interactive way (i.e. discussing topics in small groups). This would've been the most engaging Zoom I have done."
- Rebecca Moyne - Copper Coast Council
HR ESSENTIALS FOR LEADERS MULTI-SESION PROGRAM
"Training was highly engaging both with the facilitator and participants. Culture of engagement was initiated within 10 minutes of the series and continued throughout. Proteus were excellent at using the Zoom platform also."
- Rachel Loli - Department of Justice and Attorney General - QLD
LEADING INNOVATION & STRATEGY MULTI-SESION PROGRAM
"I loved every minute of this course. I came away feeling energised, reinvigorated and full of ideas that were almost ready to implement! Thanks to Richard for his leadership, a really awesome investment!"
- Amanda Cunningham-Moody - City of Gold Coast
"This was a fantastic program, well facilitated with great content and delivered in an engaging way with plenty of scope for two way conversation and application to varied businesses and industries. The supporting materials provided were also really comprehensive and provided tangible tools to take away."
- Jurek Stopczynski - Mission Australia
"My head is spinning from all the knowledge I gained during this program. The practical tools and templates will be invaluable to me. The pace of the program was perfect; content relevant; and there was plenty of opportunity for discussion and hearing from others. I thought using a real work situation in the practical components was genius. I now have two-thirds of my work completed. The facilitators' knowledge was contemporary, and they both listened to participants. I enjoyed the snippets of humour throughout the program."
- Kate Britton - Clinical Skills Development Service
EMERGING LEADERS MULTI-SESION PROGRAM
"The program experience has reached above my expectations, the ability to be able to externally share obstacles and establishing ways to overcome circumstance was an eye opening. Program that is a worthwhile personal and professional development."
- Chelsea Laciste - Anglicare Southern Queensland
Next program:
Getting everyone on the same service page
By the end of the program participants will have rediscovered the importance of both internal and external customer service.
They will be able to develop strategies and techniques to provide positive, passionate and professional service to both their customers and across their organisation.
Participants will create a shared understanding and language to drive the service factor across their team or organisation.
